Information on the Festival

The Taebaeksan Sunrise Festival is a festival where tourists from all around the country and the citizens of Taebaek visit to start their new year full of hopes and aspirations in Korea 's holy mountain, Taebaeksan (Mt.).

 
Festival Details

It is composed of setting up hope lamps, percussion performances, messages from the tool vassal and other year-end events as well as sunrise hiking, dance by the Seven Fairies, flying away balloons of hope and other year-start events, as well as traditional folk games and singing contents.
